Random Thought with Cryptokidd

Rockefellers moving money into the crypto space via Venrock. Looks like they are partnering with Coinfund.

Is this good or bad for the crypto future? Just as things have been heating up this last year it should be expected that will attract new money and investors. The crypto market has some big steps to take if we want this to grow and expand into the future. Right now it seems we might be dealing with some major regulation and laws coming soon. We now have most regulatory agencies trying to take a piece of everyone and wield there powers. A big part of the crypto news lately has been the crackdown on ICO'S in order to "get the scammers out" so us poor uneducated investors don't get taken advantage of. Is it ok that just this week I have now heard news that a couple of the worlds biggest scammers and financial manipulators in Soros and Rockefellers are getting involved? This sure smells like the same old song and dance that has developed over the past centuries, same characters same controlling eliminate. Is this just the beginning of the world controlling elite funneling the wealth out of our pockets again? I'm not as worried about Joe Schmo scammer as I am these professional snakes! These are people that have the power and control to turn this into yet another financial playground for the elite. One thing is for sure, it will be interesting from here.

Hey @cryptokidd this is @evanrvoss on my future account...The institutional investors are starting to get on board! A Billion dollar Chinese fund also posted that they are about to start buying cryptos with "Government money"! This is very big for early investors like ourselves.

Dude I was just up in Breckenridge for a few weeks in February and it was amazing! I try to vacation in Colorado at least once a year. You are lucky to enjoy those views year round....I told broncnutz if he is ever in Florida he can stay at my house. The offer is welcome to you always well buddy! If you ever need to escape that cold.

2018 will be an epic year in crypto when it's all said and done!!! Breck is my go to spot I love it up there. Erics double baked wings on main st next time you are up, they're the best.

I couldn't agree with you more! I just laugh at all the people that wouldn't buy Bitcoin at $19,000 because they felt like they missed the boat, but are scared to buy under $6,000. Crazy if you ask me...

Yeah, Breck has some really good food places, but I'm not sure if I ever had the wings though. I'll have to check it out next time.

I guess the only good part of this is if Soros and the Rockefellers are getting involved in crypto, maybe they'll help smooth the way for more favorable legislation and regulation laws. But mostly, you're right. This isn't a group that inspires much confidence that they won't manipulate the market to their benefit.

The crypto market is the new and improved but I agree there's still a lot of work to be done. The scammers will ruin the crypto market until people get smart enough to use a crypto wallet. Great discussion @cryptokidd !

I can't wait to see some of the new wallet technology that hopefully will continue to get more convenient to use as well as secure.

It's a double edged sword, without these big names entering the crypto currency space it can't grow so ultimately the space needs 'big money' to invest into it. The flip side is they usually just get into these markets to make money and not to invest in the actual technology...

I completely disagree. We don't need "big" FIAT money to come into the space to make it grow.

The view that more "big" money comes into the space the more it grows comes from only viewing the space as its FIAT/Crypto exchange pricing (i.e. USD/BTC etc...)
We need to be judging the space by:

the size and use cases of utility tokens
the amount of transaction growth on each blockchain
how many unbanked people in the world now have access to financial services

We need to stop discussing everything from the viewpoint of an American day trader.
