I have just been scammed by Bitconnect. I made a loan to them of $250 and I am receiving small daily returns. However, there was a problem when I went to send my second deposit. A popup came up telling me to send the deposit to a newly generated address. I did. Bitconnect says that they don't know anything about the new address or the popup. I also suspect that they had help from my ISP since my email was locked up just before I made the transaction. I had to call Xfinity to unlock my email to confirm my device to Coinbase before I could send the coins. Xfinity fixed my email, but now the scammer knew that I was sending coin to the fake address. After that I no longer saw the popup on Bitconnect and Coinbase no longer asked me to confirm a new device with each login. I don't know whether Bitconnect actually pays outs as promised. I won't be sending them any more coins.
