Great post, yes the DAO hack is definitely a whole different "ethical" debate altogether but you managed to explain and correlate it to tdv pretty well.

I think right now we are just seeing the consequences of having corrupted and shady stuff going on on the Steemit platform and that was the whole point of my post, not only accusing him but the whole system who rewared him more than 30k. Instead of promoting good content creators consistently, whales upvote people with influence who have nothing to say but "Hello I'm on Steemit".

Early birds with more than 100 accounts, infinite SP that will be unreachable even for tdv, whales cross voting and in particular curation rewards and how we upvote stuff you hate just to get some rewards. That's the definition of corruption.

If those are the pillars this platform is based on while dissent, valid critics and hard questions are frowned upon...well you get the current situation, 3-5k active users (and half of those are bots) upvoting themselves.
