So, last week, I got a call. I was also excepting a call from the people who are suppose to help me find a job. But because during certain times, when someone tries to call me, it does not go through, I answered it. Thinking it was the people getting back to me
Normally, I don't answer if I don't know who is calling, but because I wasn't given contact info in regards to who will be calling me, I need to answer when I get a call.
This guy, with a very heavy Indian accent, said something about my computer, I have no idea what he was saying.
But it looks like he was trying to get me to install something on my computer. Call me crazy, but its very strange for someone to call you out of the blue and telling you to download something on your machine I don' download programs that I don't know/trust. And this thing he wanted me to get could of gave my laptop a virus, infected it with adware, spyware. or even worse, random ware. or even made it easier for him to hack me. I don't have the cash for a new PC, so I surely can't afford to let a scam artist mess it up.

I hung up, and he keeps calling me no matter how many times I reject the call. I can't block the number because its under a private/unknown ID. I don't know how he got my number, I never give my number to someone I don't know/trust.
If any one knows how I can get him to leave me alone, that will be great.
Sounds super bizarre. I recently got a call where they were trying to get money from me, claiming that my grandmother was being held for ransom. It was really scary. I ended up submitting a report to the FBI. Not sure if you can submit the case it to them? think you would need to get the company's name the next time he calls. Try and get as many details as possible. A call back number, an email, company name... then file the report.
It shows up on my phone as "unknown" I think it would be hard for the FBI to trace it, epecally if they have their IP address hidden.
There is a federal "DO NOT CALL LIST" you can add your phone to. It stopped alot of sales calls on my phone. Just google or youtube it.
