BAD DAYS

in #sc-v6 years ago

We all have sad days.

Times where the sun seems to hide and where everything around us is completely gray. Days when the only thing we cling to is a thin and thin rope of hope. We hold onto it hoping it will not break until we pass the test.

But even in sad days the birds keep singing. The flowers continue to show their beauty and the wind continues to blow. Despite the rain you can contemplate the beauty of the horizon far away. We wait until the rays of the sun that give us their heat reappear.

All in greater or lesser proportion we experience the frustration of defeat, fear and the desire not to want to fail. We try even more not to get the victory. Somehow, even if there are terrible moments that seem eternal, in which we think they will never happen, we hear a voice that comes from within us and tells us: "This will also happen, that God will help us to cross the tunnel or the desert" .

We will always find stones in the road, but we must find a way that they do not obstruct us. To the beauty of the rose what protects it is its thorn. What at times seems like a wall could be the bridge that leads us to the place we have to reach. But what we can not afford is to stay stuck in the road, what we can not let happen to us is to abandon the march. What we should not allow to happen to us is to stop growing, to learn and to laugh. If we fall, we only have two options: to lie on the ground or get up. One option will magnify us while the other will bring our ruin. So many characters in the Bible and in history wanted to desist countless times, but they did not allow themselves because they knew there was much to be gained. That nothing is written of the coward that makes him proud, that for everything you want to fight with devotion, passion, zeal and fervor.

That our greatest example was Jesus Christ who, even suffering the most immense and cruel pain, did not spare his own life for giving us you and my salvation.

@jorgelis. The apostle Paul tells the Ephesians to arm themselves with the armor of God, so that they can resist against the snares of the devil in the day of evil. It means there is a BAD DAY. There has not been, there is not, and there will be no man on earth, who will not have a bad day. We all have a bad day. David, understanding that there was a bad day, decides to take refuge under the shelter of that One, who could free him on that day. Because how sad it is for human beings, when the bad day arrives and they have no one to protect them.
