THE BREAD OF LIFE

THE BREAD OF LIFE
The human being has always been cataloged for being a persistent person in what he easily finds, that is, where they give him they want to be there and this situation occurs from ancient times, since many followed Jesus for what he gave them or did. That is why in this conversation Jesus tells the disciples the following:

John 6: 25-32
25 And when they found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him, Rabbi, when did you get here?
26 Jesus answered and said to them, Verily, verily, I say to you that you seek me, not because you have seen the signs, but because you ate the bread and satiated yourself.
27 Work, not for the food that perishes, but for the food that remains eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you; because God the Father pointed to him.
28 Then they said to him, What must we do to put into practice the works of God?
29 Jesus answered and said to them: This is the work of God, that you believe in the one he has sent.
30 Then they said to him, What sign, then, do you do, that we may see and believe you? What work do you do?
31 Our fathers ate manna in the desert, as it is written: Bread from heaven gave them to eat.
32 And Jesus said to them, Verily, verily, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread of heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread of heaven.
33 For the bread of God is he who came down from heaven and gives life to the world.
Reina Valera 1960 (RVR1960)

All people always strive more for material things than spiritual things without taking into account that material things are also provided by God.

In this case the aforementioned verses remind us that Jesus reproaches the people who sought him not because of the signs He made but because they ate bread and satiated. Obviously people worried more about what they did for God and what God did about the miracle signs specifically on bread, while for Jesus the most important thing was the spiritual faith or trust in the one to whom God He had sent in this case in the person of Jesus Christ.

In this sense, Jesus makes people and their disciples see that they are more concerned with attending or seeking the true food that could lead them to eternal life than the food that perishes.
And truly this is the message of Jesus and that He presented himself to the world as "light of the world" "salt of the earth" and "bread of heaven.

In this order of ideas it is understood that Jesus is the fundamental and essential part of human life, that is to say of man, because He makes people see that all these things that man needs to obtain eternal life He has them.

And the only thing that people have to do is to believe in the work that God sent our lord "Jesus Christ" because He tells them when they asked what they should do to put God's works into practice Jesus tells them: This is the work of God, which you believe in which He has sent.

Excellent reflection @elion, truly Jesus is our greatest provision without Him man does not know how to direct his way and will never satisfy his soul. He is the true bread from heaven sent to mankind.
