2 Peter 1:3-4 (NIV)
"His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires."
Beloved in Christ, We have to be always thankful to our Lord Almighty God for honouring every promises he made to us, He has said He will never reject us neither would He leave us astray if we walk in his light. Though at first we were children who were disobedient that is why He threw us unto the Earth to suffer with the devil, when Adam and Eve committed a great sins against Him. We were given the second chance to repent and renew our relationship and faith with God during the time of Noah, but mankind disobeyed God and themselves to many sins, so God used flood to wiped always these sinners. The Sodom and Gomorrah, the same thing happened when God set fire throughout the town to burn everything.
After all these while when we have sinned against God, He saw that He needs to save us, give us some freedom which will provide us with Salvation. Therefore through Jesus Christ, the Son of God, we have been saved by his blood which He poured for all mankind. God continues to give freedom to us after the death of Jesus Christ, He has said never will He bring fire or flood to wipe away mankind, that is why Jesus has been our mediator between mankind and God. God has given Jesus Christ to give mankind freedom, if we believe in him we will be saved.
Though the devil continue to operate in this World, but God loves us and saves us from many troubles that the devil poses to us. Many tribulations are we passing through; the World economic hardship, many iniquities some some of us are facing. But through God's divine protection none of us is caused harm. God's shadow covers us all, and this means that if we continue to live in him He always give us freedom.
Thank you for sharing @sc-g, without a doubt the times are bad but the grace of Jesus is still valid for all who believe.
Darlenys
Amen in Jesus name
