First, I want you to know, many members who currently hold SBT have been here a while. I want to thank all of you for taking your roles in the SBT Community. Whether it is just to collect rewards, battle in the server on occassion, or just connect with likeminded individuals, there is a diverse group of people who I enjoy talking with and hanging out with. Thank you all for the support you have given me, and, the whole SBT community. Without all you great people, I probably would have given up on this project long ago.
When SBT was created back in, late 2021, sometime close to the coming year of 2022; I didn't exactly have a blueprint of what to do, or, even what certain buzz words like: "use cases or curation" were. Since then, I have gained a clearer understanding of what they are and what they mean. Of course, use case is what currency is used for. And for the time being, I believe that @sbtstakeholders are content with a majority of what I do for the #splinterlands community. I will do my best to keep upvoting (when I can seem to remember) posts until I can get it to be done automatically. If anyone knows how or where I can set that up, please comment or dm me in discord #itzninjafool to show me the way to do it.
Around then, my main account @itzninjafool had a large asset value, and SPS's value was still around $1. I had collected many great cards. Well, long story short, I eventually was hacked and my account drained down to basically nothing. Luckily, I saved it in time to keep some assets to keep me from going under. Both @itzninjafool and @sbtofficial.
I have since been investing, in both myself @itzninjafool splinterlands account and the @sbtofficial accounts tokens and cards by adding to a sort of spending pool I safely created for this current system. I want to work on maintaining sustainability on the account @sbtoffiical constantly working on ways to improve #sbtbattletoken
I went from having no idea about what to do with SBT, to having a tiered discord system. Using staking as the way to verify. There has been a lot of manual work behind it and keep my word around watching both the market and verifying names regularly to ensure fairness of rewards given within the system. The discord rewards are everyday. You only need to react with the emoji to secure your entry. Of course, there will be days where I can happen to have a long day and "crash out" early to compensate. Like most people when they have a long day, I can too! I am sure most of you understand. I do not deter, I notify the happenings within the discord and onto the next ones. Recently, someone had mentioned the year giveaway, and if Splinterlands will be around, I think they will. I believe the onboarding process that @yodappmatt had mentioned addressing for players new to the game. I am excited to watch the future of the game play out over the coming years.
Right now, I think the game needs improvement. That's true to me, as it is, many others. However, I don't think of the game as a value earned without taking into consideration the assets held. Over the past few months, card prices seem to have dropped to all-time market lows. At least for many. When I joined the game, some of the cards were out of reach, like many still are for me at this time. However, investing in cards is only part to the strategy. There are many ways to "earn" from the game, it just needs improvement to the current layout. Maybe when soulbound cards can be unlocked, then the panic will go away. Me personally, I am here for the long run.
Currently SBT has the weekly drip system. Which in the past it was daily and it really cluttered users transaction history making things harder to find for them. Moving to weekly was to help clear cluttered histories and make it a little easier for users to watch what happens within the @sbtoffical account. Coins include #SWAP.BTC, #SWAP.ETH, #SWAP.DOGE, #PIZZA, #STARBITS, #PART, #DEC, #SPS, #VOUCHERs, SIM, and many others.

In fact, we recently partnered with @pepe.voter and @pepetoken by delegating coin for coin to help with upvotes. I am looking forward to working alongside @pepetoken and seeing the game come into fruition. I am certain that the community can look forward to the cooperation of SBT with Pepe's newfound partnership not only through curation, but, as both communities grow. We plan to do quite a few things over the coming months, so keep froggy out there. 🐸

Which is also what had caused the clutter. @chancetheguy created the system that I am using for the drip. And since, even the idea of "what" to drip has grown. Everyone who has 100,000 SBT Staked will receive the drip. The more you have the better rewards you will get. It is like this, if you want the best rewards, then in order to do so, you will need millions. However, the bits stack up and you can do as you wish with whatever earnings you receive. But, if you are getting it free, why not take advantage of the discord tiers. Considering, you can even earn more sbt and other tokens there, or, participate in the daily raffles. Afterall, the lowest entry point is 10,000 SBT staked in order to join the fun!
I wanted to give a huge shout out to many people in the @sbtcommunity I have been blessed to have as part of the community. The following people have been a huge help over the past months and some even since the creation of the #sbtbattletoken. Even though, we are a 3rd party splinterlands token with 0 affiliation to the team, we will keep thriving. And I will make it my duty to find sustainable ways to maintain this source of passive income.
@sgt-dan or @untamedsarge who has been delegating the @sbtofficial account since the start. He has been an awesome partner navigating the splinterseas and teaching me a lot about curation and Hive in general. He has been around a long time. Since the ole STEEM days. When instead of Splinterlands, it was still steem-monsters. I hadn't joined Splinterlands until early 2020.
@chansetheguy - for creating the entire drip system that we have today! And for your previous work on layer2labs/splinterlabs. A huge cheers to you buddy for you taking your time to make such an awesome system we have. Maybe someday we can figure something out and get something figured out in the future to do something similar like that and you collect a % of the earning fees? Who knows? Hit me up in the discord and we can chat about it if you like. I have a few cool ideas and maybe at the very least you might be able to point me in the direction of doing it. I had been gone too long when my pc was fried, I don't even know if you are still around. Anyway, I want to thank you for your time and efforts helping me shape SBT into what it has become! I appreciate it every time I need to use the bot.
@ivarbjorn or @ironside - I am not sure if that is his name on hive these days, helped keep the SBT Discord community rolling while my PC was down. He did a lot of work for #sbt and I can't even explain how grateful am am that he was there to do so. I am not even sure if he is still even on HIVE, but if you are bro, thanks for everything you did for @sbtofficial while I was gone! I really appreciate you taking on that tough role.
@treefrognada - for all the current and previous help with the giveaways. I appreciate the help! I know some days I can fall asleep. So, maybe we can make an arrangement for you to earn some SBT when you do have to cover for me. I could always set up a spreadsheet again, like I said in the server, I just haven't gotten to it yet. But, it is still a plan. I wrote it in my notebook to keep track.
@momongja - Hey bro, I know you aren't going through probably the best times as of late, but, I still wanted to say thank you to you too bro! Your creative genius is what help formulate the current token design that SBT has. And, I have learned a ton about design in general from you over the past few years too man. I appreciate you buddy!
@bananofarmer/@ascensionist - For helping me originally spread SBT, you helped jumpstart the SBT Community and for that I thank you! It was awesome having you around and if you manage to get the time again, maybe we can game out. You showed me a lot of great nft/crypto games I had never even heard of. It would be awesome if you were active in the community again. If you have the time that is, no worries if not. I just miss hanging out with you and @maggotmilk jamming on that one game you showed me. Of course, since then, I forget the name. Lol
@cpol @tirizard - the discord bounty holders who have been dominating the battlefield with sbt multipliers. Which has inspired a whole new addition to the server that I cannot wait to implement. Tomorrow will be our first test run. To join the fun come join the SBT Discord Event

But, as for activity inside the server, you guys hold the torch. Without you guys, I would be bored out of my mind somedays. You guys keep me entertained, even the people listed above your mention. All of you guys are awesome in my book! There are probably names I have left out, no worry, I think you are awesome too. If you had taken your time to interact with other members inside the server, or, even just me, you are awesome. I like taking my time to get to know the holders of SBT. It is a diverse group and many of us share the same interests. Also, I want to thank the people holding raffles everyday/week on peakd. You guys are awesome! I love the dedication! Way to make it easier for Splinterlands player to play the game and collect free assets using your giveaways. It truly is an amazing thing to see, even though I do not participate. I think it is amazing!

Anyway, I just wanted to share a little history and how SBT has come thus far. Without the SBT community, and those who aren't really on hive anymore, SBT has built its way from the ground up. I think with a little more determination and will power, we will become one of the strongest tokens on hive. But, that's just my opinion. And if things work out the way I hope.
