I feel reasonably confident that YOU know better than just about anyone that SBD were never pegged to the USD !!!!!
The deal was that 1 SBD could be exchanged for 1 USA $ worth of Steem.
A lot different than being pegged to the US dollar, is is not? It kind was but not really.
I would really appreciate understanding why SBD were killed. In terms of giving people good reasons to engage by Posting or making comments so they can earn SBD they were a winner. So killing them must have had a negative influence?
Especially as they were trading on the open markets for way way more than 1 US Dollar! The ability to earn SBD was a huge draw for new users.
