My Gratefuls
Three people make this list. My mum, my dad and @woleybabz
More than three people made my 2017. It has been a very great year in my life as I have met a bunch of great people this year.
First, I am grateful to my dad and mum. Both of them have supported me greatly this year. They have been able to understand my goals (not completely though) and give me the support I need to grow.
I get home late in the night and they don't nag me about it.
When I have my bad moods, they understand and give me the space I need to vent it off.
Life is good with an understanding family.
Secondly, I am grateful to one good friend; @woleybabz who introduced me to Steemit. If he didn't tell me about Steemit, I most likely wouldn't be post this.
Three things I am grateful for
I'm grateful for my wonderful family.
They have always been there for me. Many people don't know I have mood swings. My family understand me and I love them for that. I hope to get out of the swings asap.I am grateful for life.
A couple of friends died this year. An ex-employee also died after complaining of chest pain. A good neighbour after a short illness too. These people were not old.
An old family friend died at 72 too.
These deaths made me see how short life is. They made me realize how valuable every human interaction is. Any might be the last.
- I am grateful to the internet for changing my life this year. I learned android app development on Udacity via a paid scholarship by Andela, I joined Steemit and learned about cryptocurrency. That has saved me from brokeness this yuletide. I also met @steem-lagos team. All wonderful people.
My Hopefuls
So, I'm hopeful for a splendid 2018.
First, I hope I get my savings right and start trading crypto.
Secondly, I hope I make more Steemit friends and make more money from my posts. My post votes are so low; it breaks my heart most times.
Lastly, I hope I am able to save enough to travel to America for my Masters in Chemistry and afterwards learn some proper programming. I have Kotlin in mind.
My freedoms
I will not take my moodiness and sadness into 2018. When things don't work out, my heart fails. I get sad and moody for days. I don;t want to have any form of depression so I'm not taking such evil into 2018.
I will be as free as a bird and have as many friends as I can. By June, my life would have taken a more definite route.
Minnow Support has helped me greatly
You know how difficult it is to find your way around here. I had a huge difficulty getting even an upvote. Then Minnow Support Project came and I joined the discord channel. @r0d0n and @discordiant were very helpful with next steps to take and what to do.
I remember vividly how @discordiant advised me on how to set up my Steem Voter and Streemian accounts.
@discordiant then upgraded my profile on PALnet/MSP discord channel. I have learned how important it is to share and help in the community.
Thank you MSP.
Delegation
Poor Minnow me just delegated 50 SP to Minnow Support. I hope it's enough.

Finally! Mission accomplished.
Thank you @aggroed for this opportunity. I'm so glad I could complete this task.
Nice
Thanks Josh
Great post!
Gene editing comes with countless ethical questions that are almost impossible to answer.
I think the discussion will never end, as there is no clear line between right or wrong.
But these are questions that we will definitely have to deal with in the future - let's see how humanity will handle it!
I never talked about gene editing at any point.
