To folks not native to San Diego's Mission Beach boardwalk, you may see an old man skating and think nothing of it, you may see a homeless guy on skates who's completely nuts!...But to us ..."SLOMO IS LEGEND!" To us the sight of him brings an instant smile to our faces that we got the chance to see the legend in person, I've been lucky enough to give him a "flying high five". To us Slomo is San Diego.
Josh Izenberg's documentary of Slomo is just incredible. From the long sweeping looks of San Diego shore line to the crisp editing and the words straight from the man himself will leave you inspired to "do what you want to!"" My favorite line from Slomo...."I don't identify myself as a doctor anymore...but frankly at this point I'm just trying to get to the end of my life without becoming an asshole again." I hope you enjoy.
