I do not believe it is a good use of the reward pool to give rewards to people who do not want more investment in HIVE.
You are welcome to post whatever you want. Anyone can. You have freedom of speech here and no one can stop you from posting.
But the reward pool is not free, it is our common good and the community allocates it.
I think it will do more good if these rewards go to people who are looking forward to 2035 and want to invest in HIVE’s future.
Apologies if you do not agree with me but this is where I land on this issue.
Enjoy the boat. I’m glad you were able to flip Steem and HIVE to eth and do so well financially.
I would like to stay on HIVE and do my best to help people who want to grow HIVE with users that care, not just random users.
I will continue to invest in HIVE against your guidance.
If it goes to zero that’s fine with me. Not everything in life is about money.
Fair enough, will consider declining payments in my posts going forward or redirect payouts to those more positive about the project. Perhaps to one of the curation trails or some account like that. This discussion has helped me to see the project and my place in it more clearly. Appreciate your input in that regard.
You decide your place. Not me and not anyone else.
Good luck. I hope we can get more people to actually look to 2035 vs thinking Steem is still important in some way.
I have no idea what Steem is and the more people mention it to me the more I am glad I never joined when that was around.
I can only imagine how brutal the fork was and I will never understand it.
Why so many people try to make their issues with Steem my problem I do not understand. Maybe I will figure it out one day. Who knows? 🤷♂
