Raised the anchor early and headed into Zwicker Wharf. The electrical problems that had plagued Makina were now narrowed down to a depleted engine battery. We drove to Bridgewater and bought a new one at Canadian Tire. Once back at Makina it was installed and the electrical gremlins may be behind us.
Pierre made a wonderful beef stir fry for supper.

Called over to South Shore Marina for news of hauling Makina out of the water and getting some work done. It had been about 2 weeks, already, awaiting word from them. Stedman told me it would be a week more due to the manager taking his vacation. This disappointment led me to looking into other options.
The first one the internet delivered to me was East River Shipyards in Mahone Bay. They were pleased to take my call because they just so happened to be having a slow week and said that they could take her to the hard the next day.
With additional supplies, water tank filled and Makina's new battery installed; we set off from Zwicker's a little after 11:00 heading back to Chester. Arrived just around sundown and dropped the hook in the back harbour.

Up bright and early and headed for East River Shipyards which was about 4 miles away. Arrived sooner than expected and had to stand off the Shipyard while they would hauling another vessel. Finally it was our turn and out she came.

We droved to town and stayed at my Daughter and Son-In-Common-Law's place.

Up fairly early out of habit. Pierre and myself headed out for breakfast and then went on a number of small 'chores'. Be that getting a specially requested bakery item by Pierre's friend to getting a key cut for my Daughter's place. We felt a little spent when we finally got back to their place. Bree, my Son-In-Common-Law, had made a lovely spegetii sauce for supper.
Pierre plans to head out in the morning and it looks like 2 to 3 weeks of the landlubbing life for me.
