Be Wise AND Smart: PRINT OUT YOUR INFO

in #safe5 years ago (edited)

In this day and age, most of us are dependent on our smartphones, laptops, and flashdrives. I took my gardening info, printed it off, and my husband helped me get it all into a binder. Complete with homemade tabs! I feel a little safer because I have lots of quality information, that has nothing to do with electricity.

There is a lot of important information that can be printed. However, I make many entries by hand due to the shortage of ink in my country. We must also consider sustainable development therefore need to take care of the paper. Just print what is very necessary. Good video. Greetings @growingupvillage

I could not agree with you more about having hard copies of everything. That was a great idea to organize all of your garden planning and growing information into one easy to reference binder.

I'm so glad you think so! These videos help me not to feel alone in my own thoughts.

I can certainly understand that with the long dark and bitterly cold winters you have where you are. We have pretty harsh winters in the northeast, but nothing compared to yours. I am starting so go stir crazy for spring so I can empathise to some extent what is like for you this time of year.. We both will just have to keep looking forward to and planning for spring! :)

Usually by now, we have a weather pattern change and it gets to sweatshirt and walking weather for a couple weeks. I hope it doesn't just skip us this February! But it IS beautiful here, despite the harsh winter. The coldest days in NW Alaska are also the clearest and sunniest and bluest days of all. So I haven't got too much to be unhappy about. But... come on Summer!!! 🥰🤩😄 Thank you for always supporting my blog!!!

This is a GREAT idea! My partner was in the military and he was required to keep a binder full of important information called, "a love me" book (or something like that - it's been awhile). But, the point is that it contained all of the essential information someone would need in the event that he was unable to provide it. When we got together, we created love me books for each other so that we would always know what to do in the event that the other could not help. We included all of the relevant medical information and financial account numbers, as well as mundane things like email login and password information - those that you forget yourself because Google just "keeps them for you." I never thought about keeping other important information like you did for your gardening plans. You have inspired me to get back to creating "I Love Me" books for the things I love 🌱

Oh I'm so glad ❤❤❤ That is awesome to hear about your Love books, and how it worked. Thank you for telling me allllll this!!!
