I love your stories with photos. This one was a great one for me as I am a sucker for the animals and I love birds.

The polish chicken was adorable and I have hatched that breed many times. They are great pets. The guinea hen also a wonderful bird, they make an amazing noise, I like it, but some are annoyed by it. Although I also love the screech of the peacock as well, it always makes me think of English Country Houses, that and the screech of the fox...sorry I am getting off topic.

The swan is a beautiful thing, but it is funny when they get out of the water as their grace and line soon becomes the comic walk of ducks and geese, as it waddles it's beautiful frame along the mucky shore.

In my Village in USA we have swans that breed each year in the villages pond by the grist mill. They make me think of having tea at my favourite tea room there watching them glide along like pieces of living art.
