As always a firmly disciplinary exposition of realpolitik. Despite my lingering gratitude for the 2008 gift 'Putin' (or whatever cabal fronts with him) gave the world by not seizing the Baku pipeline junction (thus costing overlords the real prize they started the Georgian war over), I have to acknowledge the truth you forthrightly present that statism is inherently evil, unjust, and that Putin is an unabashed statist, and undoubtedly a tool of overlords intent on nefary.
