It will not be the first time Russia loses a war of aggression because the Russian population sees it as bad ^and/_or pointless.

Maybe they are seeing the fact such war is draining the brightest elements of Russian society who are fleeing or being sent to die in Ukraine.

Russia has an area larger than Pluto with natural resources that could make the country happier than Finland, with better live quality rates than Norway if they just stop being an ass to their neighbors.
