Running Is My Antidote

This morning I didn’t go running because of training at the weekend. So, I chose to do yoga for stretching my muscles and relaxing my body. Compared with running, yoga is relatively not fierce sports. As a result, it doesn’t increase your heart rate too much, which usually doesn’t make you feel “the runners high.”

The whole day I was totally not in a good state, so I didn’t work very efficiently and was easily distracted. I counted on drinking a cup of coffee to give me a little energy, but it didn’t make it. Finally, I just tried to uplift myself a little.

This situation needs a little change. Thank Goodness. About 3P.M. I got a message that told me that I could attend the Shanghai Marathon. I was really happy at that moment; I didn’t have good luck with that in last two years.

I thought about running every day before. But, a good runner needs strong core muscles. So, my routine is almost like this: running one day and training core muscles the next day, then repeat the mode.

From today’s experience, I think I need to add HIIT into my daily routine. I really don’t want to go through the low spirits.
