Sunday run : achievement unlocked

I was flying on my run today. I was hitting the 6 minute kilometres most of the time. I felt sure I'd manage 10km in under an hour. It's not too cool out there, but it is a little damp. That may just be dew.

As I got near home my app spoke to say I'd done 10km in one hour and seven seconds! I felt a bit cheated, but when I got in it was showing something different. I wonder if it did a more accurate calculation afterwards.

I've seen steady improvement over the last few months. I'm still not as quick as a few years back, but I'll take what I can get. I really need to get out more than once a week to keep building strength.

Just by my house I spotted these toadstools. I'm not going to try eating those.

I'll stick this in here too. I went to the chip shop last night. On the way back I saw something crawling across the path. It turned out to be a big spider. Most here are pretty tiny, but this had an abdomen about 1cm across. It's not a great picture. I let it continue on.

A run can be greatest adventure! I know that it is hard to find additional time slot in the calendar for one more run during the week, but it will make more benefits for your strength. Run and be safe, who knows maybe that spider is poison! ;)

Spiders here are not dangerous. Just not seen one that big

eeewww I hate those spiders, we get loads like that in our garden. they usually have a white cross on their abdomen, they are the common garden spider, but are pretty mean looking to me! The price we pay for living in the woods lol well done on your run, I would love to learn to run but I am so unfit and my asthma is triggered when I try 😕 any tips on how to start slow?

Even walking can do you good. Try short jogs with walking between. I'm no expert, but there are guides online. People seem to like the Couch to 5k one

I walk quite a lot with having 5 dogs. ive heard about the couch to 5k app, ill download it and have a look. The field i walk the dogs on is quite flat and usually empty at the time I use it, so could be a good place to start! Thanks! ☺

My app will do that do. Sometimes i think there is just a lag with syncing. Good job on impr9ving your speed! I recall chatting with you before about your pace. Endurance Comes sooner than speed.

Running is a great form of aerobic exercise. It helps us in various ways. I try to do some exercise daily but mainly walking. I also use S health app in Samsung.

ohhh men that is impressive! I don't think I would ever be able to do it. I really hate running LOL Awesome workout :D

I was forbidden to run because of osteochondrosis if I ran and then observe the correct technique of running. I still switched to simple gymnastics and did not risk my spine.
