Okay, so I didn't see any tulips on this run, but the spring flowers are appearing everywhere. This is similar to the run I did last week, but I had my colleague with me and we took a slightly longer route. I think he liked it as there's some quite pleasant countryside once you get past the lane where people seem to dump their rubbish.
It's a bit muddy on the farm tracks, but not too deep. It warmed up a little today after a freezing start and it was just starting to rain as we finished. I could see a few other people from work were out running from all the bags at the changing rooms. It's a bit site, but I've not had an issue getting a changing room so far.
I was looking at my past activity in Google Fit. With my last job I drove there and rarely walked far during the day. You can see I was only getting a few hours of activity each week until I changed jobs last May.
Now I get at least four times as much as I walk at least one way to the station at my end and both at the other. I also have to walk more at work due to the location of the toilets and canteen. Our office is up two flights of stairs and there is no elevator/lift.
I hope to keep doing at least two runs a week. I'm even contemplating a half marathon in May. Should I just get booked and hope I'm ready? I need to step up the training to be ready for it.
Run free!

Go for it! Book that baby and give yourself a target. Then you are not just jogging for fun, you are training for a half marathon!
Three months is plenty of time to get ready for it. If yo can do a 10km without falling apart, then you can do a half marathon. It's really just the same thing, just twice as fun ;-)
Go for it! 3 months to get in shape, I think if you keep up the routine you should be ok. Have you done a half or marathon before?
The longest events I've done are 10km. It's only about twice as far :)
Me too, let's see how we get on!
Yes, go and apply. It will give you motivation and inspiration! It is enough weeks and days (hey, even months) prior to May... you will be ready!
You'll crush the half marathon dude. I'm still working my way up to a 10K but posts like this are inspirational for me (especially the consistency in running through all weather/terrain). Keep us posted!
Cheers. I've been putting it off, but this could be the time
You can do it. Got my girlfriend to put in three (it was a series) when a year before, she struggled to run a mile. Good job and keep it up!
Yes do it, I did my first half in November just gone and I love it!
Hello fellow @isotonic delegator. I’m just making the rounds and following everyone who is supporting isotonic and #runningproject. Cheers!
We're building a nice community here. It's very motivating

This reminded me..
I need to start doing this..
A simple question ,how far should I run daily if I don't want to lose weight, just increase my stamina a bit
I'm no expert on this. I think you benefit from a few runs of at least a half hour each week. Maybe others will chip in, but there are plenty of running guides on-line. If you haven't run much before then start gently.
I play sports on a regular basis but that doesn't help with the stamina..
Let's give running a try and see how it goes
I think you should jogging only for fun. When you can run 10 Km without a rest. Then you can think about a half marathon.
Er, I can...
the walks are based on having a good resistance, it is the best for health !!! take the resistance times are very important is good advice
Are you actually a guitarist?
I am in that I play guitar. Whether I'm any good is up to others to judge. It's not my job, but that shouldn't be the only thing to define who you are.
Yeah true words. Your name made me ask tho
