This law will be even scarier than the pension reform!

United Russia, with the active support of Medvedev, is pushing another bill through (already accepted in the 1st reading). The consequences of the bill will hit Russians ten times harder and tougher than the notorious increase in the retirement age. What kind of innovation is this and which threats will the people be facing?
What's the point?

The main idea of the bill is to subject transport companies, pharmacies, boiler houses, water utilities, and other enterprises that have the status of state and municipal unitary enterprises to total privatization.

It would seem that how will it hurt us? It turns out, a lot.
The law on the abolition of all State Unitary Enterprises and Municipal Unitary Enterprises and their transfer to private hands will cause tariffs to get out of control, and almost all services in the country will increase in price tenfold.

Representatives of opposition parties criticized the bill. In particular, a Communist Party of the Russian Federation deputy Nikolay Arefyev said that the initiators "have only one motivation — to privatize unitary enterprises, reformat them into joint-stock companies, and then sell their shares, it is possible that in most cases to foreigners."

However, United Russia, as usual, is not interested in the opinion of other parties. Not only are they actively lobbying for the bill, but they do not even hide their confidence that it will be adopted and will start operating this year.

What threats will ordinary people face?

First of all, a total increase in prices. And this will happen as follows.

If now municipal water utilities and boiler houses take private business into their raking hands, the tariffs will be released completely. In simple words, private owners will be able to be arbitrary, setting all sorts of prices.

The same will apply to pharmacies, transport companies and others like them. The monopolists who have grabbed them will simply "exploit" the regions and the ordinary people; along with this, no new Municipal Unitary Enterprises can be organized, and therefore people will have no choice.

There is no doubt that the law will be passed, since the introduction and promotion initiative belongs to the largest faction.
Even small children know that "United Russia" accepts and endorses laws almost single-handedly and always unilaterally. Especially since, the first reading, which took place on December 11, 2019, passed without a hitch.

A confident "Yes" was said by United Russia and "A Just Russia" in full force. The Communists voted against by an absolute majority, while the cautious liberals, led by Zhirinovsky, abstained.

Dmitry Medvedev, who unconditionally supported the bill, said that " the liquidation of Municipal Unitary Enterprises and State Unitary Enterprises is a necessary measure, since this form of ownership is ineffective in the market". Well, of course, Dmitry Anatolyevich, it is ineffective. Too little money is obtained to rip people off, no matter how much you hike tariffs. But with the help of private business, everything will change.
In general, fact is, we are asked to prepare for an even greater and hopeless bondage than the one we are already in.

Tell me, do I alone think that the government is pushing the people to extreme measures, well aware of their actions?
