Ronaldinho, Manchester United's Ryan Giggs and five other international football stars arrived in Islamabad on Saturday to give great boost to Pakistan. It is first time such big name footballers arrived in Pakistan. The five international players accompanying Ronaldinho and Giggs are Dutch star George Boateng, former England goalkeeper David James, former French players Robert Pires and Nicolas Anelka, and Portugal's Luis Boa Morte. Football is much love sport in Pakistan, but no proper attention is given to football or any other sport in recent past. Cricket is the only game in Pakistan which get proper system.
What so great about Ronaldinho and friends is that they took the risk of travelling to Pakistan. In the times where terrorist attacks are frequent and there are no major international cricket matches in Pakistan for almost decade, after Sri Lankan cricket team bus was attack and barely survived due to the heroics of the bus driver. But Ronaldinho showed great courage and determination to visit Pakistan. This great gestures from the legends of the game will always be remember.
