Would you like to live in Romania?

in #romania7 years ago

One of the most desired locations that vacationers around the world want to spend their holidays in Romania. Situated on the southeastern side of Europe, Romania is bordered by Hungary, the Black Sea, Ukraine, Serbia, Bulgaria, and the Republic of Moldova.

Romania is a beautiful amalgamation of cultural diversity and natural beauty. No wonder it is sometimes referred to as the hidden gem of Europe. If you are looking for a natural example of enchantment, Romania is an embodiment of the word: from the hospitality of the locals to its maroon beaches, living in Romania is akin to living in an enchanted land.

Romania’s beauty lies in several natural and artificial edifices; the towering arc of the Carpathian Mountains located in the North West and the mouth of the Danube in East are exciting places that tourist flock all year round. The rolling vineyards and sunny hills of Moldavia to the fertile plains found in Walachia welcome visitors all year round. Even the serene Black Sea is not left out as it holds foreigners spellbound.

Living in Romania is like living in the medieval times, especially if you decide to stay in Bucharest, the capital city of Romania. Bucharest is the home to the world’s most massive administrative building known as the Palace of the Parliament. It is also home to the world’s most beautiful bookshop in the world.

So if you are a bookworm or you love studying history or literature, you can enjoy access to the extensive collection of over 10,000 books as well as more than 5,000 albums in Cărturești Carusel.

Living in Romania is not all that different from living anywhere else on earth. Romanians are also aware of the world and its goings-on in almost every sphere of life. They recognize that people – both foreigners and residents alike – have differences in behaviors and opinions as a result of individual’s understanding of cultures.

To enjoy your life when living in Romania, your lifestyle needs to be modest. The easiest way to attract undue attention to yourself is to start flaunting your wealth, be rude or dress inappropriately in public. You should strive not to show yourself above others or be boastful.

Romania has a traditional dress which varies from one town to another as well as from one region to another. But despite the differences, they all bear numerous similarities across the country. Most men in Romania wear a white shirt, white pants, a pair of black boots, and a vest which houses lots of embroidery in multiple colors.

source

Nowadays, though, Romanians are wearing more of western-style clothing, so let your dress sense be along those lines as well.
An essential cultural aspect in Romania is religion, and a majority of the locals are Christian orthodox.

Of course, there are other religions as well such as Roman Catholic. Despite the prevalence of Christianity, Romanians are surprisingly very superstitious and believe strongly in invisible forces of good and evil as well as in magic.

source

Social life in Romania is also upbeat, thanks to the fact that the country is home to one of the largest producers and consumers of wines. With the average Romanian consuming up to about 14.4 liters of pure alcoholic beverages annually, the country enjoys its liquor and expects foreigners to enjoy it, too.

Although Romania is still rich in culture and diversity, the western way of life is fast catching up. Therefore, enjoy your lifestyle in Romania.

Every smart person knows the following fact: the ideal place to live is a place to earn a lot and spend little. Romania is such a place. It's close to ideal if you come on an expat package. Climate is nice, geography is fabulous, women are gorgeous.

Romania is very beautiful i visited last year there this is wonder, and Romania foods, and spicy dishes i so amazing i can't explain.

Cultural Diversity is the one main thing alng Peace which actually attracts theTourists to any place. In my opinion Romania is not only rich with cultural aspects but also makes sense when it comes to Romanian Brains that had worked really hard in the field of Education specifically.

I do believe that you are so blessed and Living in Heavens on Earth such a Peaceful & Lively place.

Romania is known as the HEART of Brotherhood in our native language and the dress yo talked about is quite similar to ours.

Long Live Romania , Long Live Peace, Long Live Brotherhood

Stay Blessed @jwolf

Steem On!

I would not , I heard their government is awfully corrupt and strict

I appreciate your honest thoughts but let me know a country where government is not corrupted :p

Vatican City 😤😤

last month my uncle visited romania.....i have seen some photos of romania........that is beautiful country had i ever seen......love to live there

Romania is a southeastern European country, i like most Romanian culture.

I was in Romania for a week for a vacation. I was shocked to see how beautiful Romania is and how nice people are. and ofc, HOW CHEAP EVERYTHING IS. it's so cheap there, especially if you compare the prices of things in Romania and in Israel. oh, and there are a lot of Israeli businessmen there. so we felt like home :)
I would def visit again.

Of all the things you said about Romania, this caught my attention: 'So if you are a bookworm or you love studying history or literature, you can enjoy access to the extensive collection of over 10,000 books as well as more than 5,000 albums in Cărturești Carusel.' This is because I love books!

Your write up is a huge boost to my knowledge of, and interest for, Romania. Perhaps someday, someday, fate will glide me towards that place called Romania.

Yes, I love to live heree

Great country. I spent some time in Cluj-Napoca! The people were so warm. And incredibly smart.

Visited my friend who lives in Brasov, very beautiful over there. Not a big fan of Boekarest though. But i visited that nice bookstore. 👍

Sure its a nice country. If you can solve the problem with certain people for those who like to live outside the big city it most probably be priceless.(you know who i mean - i m Bulgarian, we have similar problems ;) )Greetings neighbour ;)

@jwolf
