Building the Romanian Community on Steemit: Let's All Work Together!

A bit over a couple of weeks ago, shortly after joining Steemit, I have decided to try and create a Romanian community - the original article is here.

The idea behind this community is very simple: Romanians on Steemit should connect, follow each other and help each other earn more with their articles. This isn't supposed to be a scheme created solely for making profits, but one that genuinely helps users.

We all know how difficult it is to get upvotes constantly, and especially upvotes that are worth something. We can help each other in that way and build our Steem Power faster, to get more powerful votes and earn more in the long run. It should be a win-win situation, as long as only high quality content is voted and everybody participates.

Here are, so far, the people I found on Steemit who are Romanian. Please check out their profiles and follow them - and they should reciprocate:

@genicon (that's me!)
@dragosroua
@silviu93
@cgame
@Bankster
@dragos0897
@zizuflorin
@rostirgeo
@skorpion
@alinabarbu
@octavian
@alexvan
@jwolf
@alexablue
@adrianmada321
@erobert
@ananuaremere
@allesia
@paul.dobrila
@luciamuresan
@ionescu
@popavasile
@luciancovaci
@raulburlacu
@ionelrosu
@raluca

It appears that I wasn't the first one who thought about creating a Romanian community on Steemit and there is already some presence on social networks. I am sharing the extra details I found out via @alexvan:

steemit.chat group: https://steemit.chat/channel/romania

Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/SteemIt.Romania/

To make it even easier for fellow Romanians to find you, you should tag your posts #romania as well as #ro. I personally believe that the latter can be used for promoting/voting purposes and the former for the highest quality content related to the country itself, which can be found by other users as well - and hopefully enjoyed greatly by them. #romania is also what new users would look for since "ro" is really generic. At least I searched for "Romania" when I created the community... and it wasn't very popular :)

Hopefully this initiative will start to catch up and we'll indeed become a compact, united group, with everybody willing to help everybody else in the group.

Don't hesitate to write your name down if you're not already on the list - or let me know if you'd like your username to be removed from this list.

Now let's grow together a bit! :)

Thanks for sharing, alina! I will add them to the shortlist for the next update :)
