Rolling Thunder is a run'n gun game for the Arcade, published by Namco in 1986.

After some time on the trail of a mysterious terrorist organization called Geldra, special agent Leyla has disappeared without a trace. Everything indicates that she has been discovered and kidnapped.

Albatross, one of the best members of the agency, receives the mission to rescue his partner from the clutches of a malevolent criminal sect, and eliminate its machiavellian leader, the enigmatic Maboo.

Our protagonist embarks on a suicidal mission armed with his gun and great agility, which allows him to access different levels of the stage through incredible jumps.

On the way to the organization's headquarters, we will find different doors. Some will allow us to hide from our enemies, but in others we will be able to reload our ammunition, which is limited, or get a powerful machine gun.

Geldra members are hooded fanatics who will not hesitate to finish us off at the slightest opportunity. They will attack us hand to hand, with guns and bombs. But be careful, as we will face many other threats, such as panthers, giant bats or men on fire.

Apart from the enemies, we have to be very careful with traps such as laser beams or terrain accidents, where a wrong step can make us fall off a cliff or into a sea of lava.
