Myanmar is ready to return verifiable Rohingya refugees Myanmar State Councilor Aung San Suu Kyi says this.
He said this at a meeting with representatives of the United Nations Security Council on Monday.
On Monday, Suu Kyi held meetings with the Security Council representatives for more than one hour.
He also sought Bangladesh's assistance to start the process of bringing Rohingyaas back to Myanmar.
It is to be noted that this process has been delayed several times since the start of the year. Suu Kyi said this in a meeting with the UN Security Council delegation.
Yesterday he said, violence may start again at Rakhine anytime.
In context, a 15-member delegation of the United Nations Security Council is now in Myanmar to resolve the Rohingya crisis. The team reached Myanmar's capital Naypyidaw on Monday afternoon. The delegation was earlier in Bangladesh for two days.
The team visited the situation of Rohingya in Cox's Bazar.
