Top 5 Arduino Projects on the Web (#1 is AWESOME)

in #robotics7 years ago

Hey guys,

Arduino is one of my favorite microcontrollers for my projects. I love it. It can be used for so many things!
So today I want to show you my top 5 arduino projects on the web. Some are easy, some are more difficult, but all of them are super fun!

Well, lets get started:

5. MeArm

By Mime Industries

The MeArm is a strong little arm that can pick up your garbage (if its small garbage), clean your room (within a range of 2 ft), and if you know enough about programming can play chess against you (well, maybe). https://shop.mime.co.uk/

This is a really great project to get started with robotics or electrical engineering. You will learn, as I did, how circuits work, basic machine assembly, a little soldering (if your adventurous), some C++ Programming, and the unteachable but invaluable virtues of patience and diligence.

You may also learn as a bonus how to swear in 7 languages when you realize you missed a step and have to completely reassemble it, but hey.

Here you can build your own smart clock that can set its own alarm, keep track of your appointments, and alert you of messages in your inbox!
Very cool, I may build this sometime.

Or maybe you and your white girl friends like to drink a lot of coffee and you want to silently record them now to embarrass them years later - than this it the project for you. https://makezine.com/projects/coffee-cup-spy-cam/

Ever wanted a cute looking mini robot that can dance? This is a great project where you end up building one with arduino.
The user has not finished instructions yet so I wont go into detail.
