Sebagai salah satu Negeri di masa Belanda, Nisam masih belum beranjak dalam segi pembangunan sarana Jalan, hampir 60% jalan Kecamatan di Nisam sama sekali belum teraspal.

Jalan yang menjadi sarana vital bagi Masyarakat dalam menjalankan kegiatan perekonomian seperti memasarkan hasil panen, sarana mempercepat mendapatkan layanan hajat hidup dan sebagainya, seharusnya dalam kondisi yang baik dan terawat, namun beda dengan jalan di Nisam, padahal jalan-jalan ini merupakan jalan penghubung antar Desa dalam Kecamatan.
Jalan seperti kubangan disaat hujan serta berdebu dimusim kemarau dan belum pernah tersentuh aspal sama sekali dari masa Belanda bahkan sampai saat ini, saat Indonesia telah Merdeka yang ke 72 Tahunnya.
Belum lagi ditambah dengan kondisi tanah di Kecamatan Nisam yang licin karena berada kawasan diperbukitan, sangat menyulitkan warga untuk melaluinya terutama di musim hujan.

Hal dimana kondisi jalan yang buruk di Nisam sudah menjadi menu sehari-hari bagi warga setempat dan seolah memang harus seperti itu sarana jalan yang mereka punya, mungkin mereka sudah lelah untuk berharap pada Pemerintah setempat.

Untuk sarana jalan Kabupaten yang saat ini sudah lumanyan bagus di Nisam, namun untuk meminta pembangunan jalan tersebut, para Pemuda dan Mahasiswa Nisam harus membuat aksi pengumpulan koin beberapa Tahun yang lalu, agar jalan Kabupaten diperbaiki.
Sementara untuk jalan Kecamatan yang sampai hari ini masih berdebu dan berlumpur, walau sebagian jalan di bagian Timur Nisam sudah teraspal namun di bagian Barat, hampir semua jalan masih belum beraspal, untuk hal tersebut salah satu Tokoh Ulama Kecamatan Nisam, Abi Imran pernah meminta Gubernur Aceh Drh. H. Irwandi Yusuf untuk dapat mengaspal jalan di Nisam dalam suatu kunjungan Gubernur kesana baru-baru ini.
Maka, semoga dalam waktu yang tidak lama kedepan, sarana jalan di Kecamatan Nisam dapat segera diperbaiki, sehingga sarana transportasi disana dapat lebih baik dan mempermudah masyarakat dalam melakukan aktifitas perekonomiannya dan berbagai kepentingan lain serta memperkecil resiko kecelakaan serta polusi debu dari jalan tanah disana.

Roads like puddles in the rain and dusty in the dry season and have not been touched asphalt at all from the Dutch era even today, when Indonesia has 72 years freedom.
Not to mention the addition of soil conditions in Nisam District is slippery because it is a hilly area, it is very difficult for residents to pass through, especially in the rainy season.

Things where bad road conditions in Nisam have become a daily menu for local residents and as if it should be like that road facilities they have, maybe they are tired to hope in the local Government.
For the current road facilities of the regency in Nisam, but to ask for the construction of the road, the youth and students of Nisam had to make a coin collecting action several years ago, so that the district road was repaired.
As for the Kecamatan road which is still dusty and muddy, although some roads in eastern part of Nisam are already paved but in the west, almost all roads are still not asphalted, for that one of the Ulema leaders of Nisam Sub-district, Abi Imran once asked the Governor of Aceh Drh. H. Irwandi Yusuf to be able to pave the way in Nisam during a recent visit by the Governor.
So, hopefully in the not-too-distant future, the roads in Nisam Sub-district can be repaired immediately, so that the means of transportation there can be better and facilitate the community in carrying out its economic activities and various other interests and minimize the risk of accidents and dust pollution from the dirt road there.
