It's me again with quick update. For those of you who haven't read my first post. The idea is to create my own faucet but doing it so with input from the community. First and for all: The faucet.

The Faucet

At first I had a lot of questions that needed answering: What technologie should I use? What cryptocurrency should i use? What should be the name of the faucet? How can I get the community involved? ...

A lot of these questions got answered the last couple of days.

What technologie should I use?

Good to know is the fact that I have some experience developing on the web. But as every other "technerd" I'm always interested in using new technologies. This time I came across GatsbyJs.

GatsbyJs is a javascript framework which you can combine with ReactJs. I always wanted to use this. This is what I want to use for the front-end of the faucet. I will probably use a lot more technologies than this one. (Bootstrap for example.)

As a backend, I've always wanted to try firebase. Firebase is a Non-SQL Database created by the guys from google. It's free to use and perfect to start with.

If any of you guys want some more details on how these work and what they are, please let me know in the comments. This way I can go into more detail in my next post. Since I don't know how techy you guys are , I can't really go in depth.

What cryptocurrencies should I use?

I thought about it a lot and to be honest, I want to use cryptocurrencies with the lowest possible fees. Since the amounts I'll be sending out won't be that big, it would be a shame if we lost a big part of these profits on the blockchain! In this quest I came upon Hive. Hive seems to have a low cost to transfer! If you guys would like another coin or have other suggestions (Banano for example?) Let me know in the comments!

What name should I use?

For a name, nothing is really official untill development phase is over and because I picked Hive as crypto, I figured I'd go for HiveClicker. From now on HiveClicker will be tagged in every post just to start some movement around the name and the faucet.

How can I get the community involved?

I still don't have a clue. I'm waiting for suggestions from the comments! Well, I have some ideas, like a livechat, an activitytracker which deals out Hive at the end of a 24h cycle. Stuff like that, but i'm wondering what you guys want!

NFT

In this part I'm going to give a little update on my progress in the different NFT games I've been playing on: you guessed it right, the Hive Blockchain. I'll talk about 3 games: CryptoBrewMaster, Rising Star Game and Splinterlands.

CryptoBrewMaster

CryptoBrewMaster has been updated a lot lately. They added timers, they added a market but the latest change is this one: the watertower. The watertower is a building you can rent for some time. (I rented it for 24h, this costs me 10 CBM.) Where, every half hour you can click to start a mission that will give you water. The building get's hurt which lowers your output.

I really think it is worth it. At the moment of writing I still have 6h and 40 minutes left on my rent, yet I allready got: 1 gray, 4 green, 7 blue, 1 pink and 1 golden water out of it. I'm keeping them because I think they will be usefull for the rest of the game but if you try to sell it on the market it's about 40 CBM? So do with the water what you want, but please rent it!

Rising Star Game

Rising Star Game is going very well for me! I bought this pack 3 days ago and i'm almost at half of my next pack! And all this with my ego increasing because of my music lessons. I know have a lot of microphones so my singing lessons give me between 15 to 30 skill. That way I can grow my starbits way faster. In celebration of this pack, i'll be giving away the card: 11 Record Producer. I know it's not much but in the future, I will be giving away more cards! Splinterlands

My progress in Splinterlands has been okay I'd say. I went from 200 dec to 500 DEC in 3 days, gained 400 power and about 300 ranking. I'm still bronze 2 because of my collection power, but since I've only once bought 1 pack, I think I'm doing okay!
