The mosh pit is a place where many music fans find themselves, and it can be a great experience or a dangerous experience depending on the artist and the vibe. It can be fun or painful, and as I have grown up, I have learned to largely avoid mosh pits.
As a young person in Portland, Oregon we saw many Punk and metal artists who drew crowds in the hundreds or thousands depending on the venue, and the space immediately adjacent to the stage was where the mosh pit evolved. It was like a maelstrom, and it began during a particularly heavy song with violent vocals and guitar riffs. Fans would swing into each other wildly while dancing, and a ring of concert-attendees formed up to encircle to pit. Sometimes people would get injured, and I learned to avoid entering the pit as an older concert-goer. Mosh pits were especially intense at Punk and Metal bands including The Misfits, Goldfinger and Metallica. Yes, I saw these acts in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
One time, I saw a group of attendees at a concert for a smaller act start to form up a circle for the mosh pit and link arms to trap us inside. I knew I was in for it when the attendees started circling and wildly dancing, and I dove out over a group to avoid the pain that would come.
As a Rising Star Newbie, it's important to form your cadence of claiming Starbits. Cadence is important in idler games, and you need to take note of the time each music mission will take to complete. I found it useful to use my phone's alarm clock to monitor impending ends to my Starbits claims from missions. To level up, youncna buy coffee cups and pizza box NFTs to store these powerups and refill your energy to make more faucet claims. Invest into these items and keep on top of your claims to move up fast.
