Daft Punk is an electronic music band from the late 1990s that broke the mold and rode the wave during the Eurodance craze. The band is a French electronic dance music duo with a distinct mix of musical styles. The band has a distinct Funk style in their music, and I can remember dancing to these tracks including "Around the world" while watching their imaginative and eclectic music videos in the club.

Daft Punk released their commercially successful 2001 album "Discovery" with the songs "One More Time" and "Harder, Better, Faster Stronger" that was used as a sample by Kanye West. The group was famous for their reclusive nature and costumes that made them look like robots. The band created the Tron Legacy soundtrack and appeared in a cameo in the film. The duo ended their band in 2021, and contributed much to the genre of Eurodance during the early 2000s.
