I hate downvotes. I can see why they were thought to be a good idea but they cause anger and drive people away. People can defend them as much as they want but that doesn't stop people leaving.
I think the saying is "cutting off your nose to spit your face".
Yeah. They soon need to realize that there are other decentralized platforms growing. I like Hive but it is annoying to receive down votes just because they can.
