This is so tough as I have many favourite songs they go on rotate I find and depends on the mood I'm in.
If I had to choose one I think I would go with The The- This Is The Day

It hits me in a special way with the lyrics, talking about this being the day that life will surely change which I think speaks to so many of us waiting for some crazy event or occurrence to happen for our lives to change. But it can change on any given day it is up to us to change it ourselves.

As for my favourite band that is another tough one but I'm gonna go with the B-52s I love their psychedelic sound and they have so many amazing songs from rock lobster to love shack I can't get enough of them.
