Apple Pay Using Ripple Interledger and Data443 as a Validator
Apple has a cross-browser API (Application Programming Interface) that’s under development by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The W3C is a global community that develops protocols and sets standard for the web. Standards Officer of Ripple, Adrian Hope-Bailie is a co-chair of the Interledger Community and Web Payments Working Group at the W3C.
The integration of Ripple's interledger protocol with Apple Pay hints the possibility of accepting cryptocurrencies as payments for purchases in the near future.
