Why Ripple (XRP) should be on your radar

in #ripple7 years ago

Everyone is looking to get into the next Bitcoin, however 99% of us would have missed the boat to make the extraordinary gains. So, what Altcoins are left for us mere mortals that have the potential for 'asymmetric returns' (returns that allow you to invest, say $100, to have a return of maybe in the thousands).

I will be analysing one of my favourites in this article, Ripple (XRT). I started watching it in May '17 at around $0.18 & currently it sits at $0.25 with plenty of upside potential.

I will be using my own research and consolidating the analysis of others who may have insider knowledge.
After all, with any investments, the whole 'herd' mentality can in itself cause a self-fulfilling prophesy as demand (and price) escalates up.

My biggest reason to for choosing XRT is the fact that its the number four highest by market by market Cap (currently $9,694,436,048) but its price is still only $0.25 compared to the top three market caps, Ethereum the cheapest at $472.

In addition, there seems to be upside in the future because investors will have several key points of progess to look forward to in the future that should improve price. One such development is the ability of low cost liquidity: xRapid.
Its is designed for payment providers and financial institutions to assist their customers.

The other development that we are awaiting is xVia which is basically for corporates, payment providers and banks who want to send payments across various networks using a standard interface. This is especially useful for international payments.

Both these two above will contribute to improving liquidity in its network, which is an essential feature of any useful cryptocurrency. Also, there is talk of Ripple currently working on a lending platform as well. This in itself will improve the overall use of Ripple as well and enticing users to purchase more of the cryptocurrency.

I reckon ripple (XRP) will get to around $1 (around 3 x current value) by the end of the year which would be huge... But I could see power ledger getting to around $15 (around 15 x current value) and funcoin getting to around 50 c ( around 13 x current price). My point is that there are probs better coins to hold. That being said ripple would be a good addition to any portfolio :)

Thanks for the recommendations xyz666 I will check them out, G'day from a fellow Aussie too mate!
