    Second Amendment is by far the most assaulted piece of legislation in the country. I wonder why? Is it because tyrants are afraid of not having absolute power over armed populace?

    Yup! Decentralized defense keeps them from being able to just outright walk all over people. That's why they have to use backdoor cronyism over time, typically.
