Hi
Since my last meal in Jeju Island, I am now working on Jeju Island, so I am writing to organize and record my life.
1.house
In order to live in various places in Jeju Island, I moved every year after my yearly contract.
Mureung-ri, Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo
It's completely countryside.
At night, they're rural, so everyone sleeps early. The whole world becomes dark except street lamps, starlight and moonlight.
So at first I didn't know it was time to see the stars in the night sky.
In the morning we start with birds, roosters, and barks.
There are only fields and houses around, and I really lived in the countryside.
Daejeong-eup It is also very weather in Muslpo.
This place is named after the place where the name of the Mussol can't be used.
Rain and wind are stronger than anywhere else.
The rain that falls straight from Jeju-si and Seogwipo-si is also hit diagonally.
And the fog is frequent and the humidity is huge.
So I lived in a few months.
There are a lot of people who live there.
It seems to be because of the surrounding Mosulpo Port, various military units, thermal power plant, and English international city.
Ido-dong, Jeju-si
It is not an old town but a new residential area, so the neighborhood was very clean and the surrounding facilities were well-maintained.
I didn't have much money, so I lived on the first floor and suffered from moisture and bugs.
I do a great job of cleaning in the fall, cleaning under the bed, and seeing the fungus.
So I knew why Jeju recommended more than 3 stories
Ara-dong, Jeju-si
The third house was near Jeju University Hospital.
The view was amazing because it is the highest residential area in Jeju.
There is not much humidity, so I lived a very comfortable life compared to the first floor of Ido-dong.
In addition, it was very convenient to use Yeonbuk-ro and Ajo-ro through the interlocking old town, peace road, and prosperity road.
In the winter of 2017-18, there was a heavy snow, and I remember Ara-dong being a sloped town.
Thanks to them, they had fun sledding.
Jungmun, Seogwipo-si
I lived a bit away from Jungmun Tourist Complex.
I thought it would be alright because I stayed away
After all, when it rains a lot, it comes like a lot of crazy weather and a lot of wind.
When I opened the car door, the door opened semi-forced, so I put a lot of corners on the wall.
And unlike the mussels, there are so many citrus fields around
I lived comfortably and was comfortable without stress.
In particular, the paddy field and the columnar joint were close and there was Olle course, so it was good to ride a bicycle.
Seogwipo City New Town
This is the last residence.
If I live in Jeju Island again, this is the place.
The new town of Jeju City lives in Jeju Island, but it feels like Jeju Island
Seogwipo New Town Oh ~ I lived in Jeju Island.
When I opened the window, I was always welcoming Sanbangsan, Songaksan, Marado, and Gapado to the Pacific Ocean and to the right.
Behind, Mt. Halla had a wonderful view.
The surrounding facilities are full of E-Mart, various banks, hospitals, fast food restaurants and franchise shops, so you can fully enjoy the city life.
There is also an intercity bus terminal so you can go anywhere without a car.
If you want to live for a year or a little, I recommend Seogwipo City.
- Transportation
If you live only in the city, public transportation is enough.
The boss who came from the land like me traveled by public transportation only without a private vehicle.
Smartphone map app is good, but if you search well, you can easily carry around.
I moved to a car because I was out of work.
The roads in the outskirts were good, so I went around peace roads, Ajo-ro, Yeonbuk-ro, Prosperity-ro, Sannok-ro, and Ilju-ro.
If you come to travel, you can use the smartphone map as well as the road that Navi guides you.
It is recommended because you can see interesting and wonderful scenery.
For example, in Jeju City, when you go to Seogwipo Jungmun, you usually go through the city and use peace roads a lot.
(A lot of rental car rentals from the airport)
It is also recommended to go straight to Hallasan from the airport and go to Seongsan or Jungmun via Yeonbuk-ro or Ajo-ro via Jeongsil-ro.
It's okay to visit Sannok-do, passing through Jeju Science High School via Gwaneumsa Temple.
When going to Seogwipo from Songak-san, I recommend Brother Coastal Road rather than Ilwon Road. The waves hit a lot more strongly
In Moseulpo, Daejeong-eup, Harbor Restaurant (Bulgogi Stew and Hanchi Sashimi in Summer), Aesop Noodles (Bulguksu)
If you come to Sanbangsan, we recommend life champon and chunmi fragrance.
When going to Jungmun in Seogwipo City, we recommend you to go through Cheonjiyeon Falls through Oedol, rather than one round road.
If you are going to Moselpo or Sanbangsan Mountain from Jungmun, take Yerae-ro and Yerae-hae Coastal Road.
It is run by the Sadam Damdam Café (closed every Wednesday) and Yongwang Nand Restaurant-Daepyeongri Women's Association.
Really delicious (breakfast and lunch only)
If you are going to Jungmun in Seogwipo from Jeju City, take the peace road to Donggwang Lamp.
There are many beautiful cedar forest paths, hydrangeas and pretty cafes to Camellia Hill.
On the way, buckwheat donggwang champon and dugupang (spaghetti, pasta)
There are Bibimbap and Hanwoo Gukbap restaurants before entering the ark.
You can eat as you please.
If you fall into Nine Bridges CC from Pyeonghwa-ro, you will reach Nine Bridges.
You can see pretty forest paths and young fields.
It's a great place to take photos
The road can be fast but not fun !!
3.Food
I saw a lot of messages posted by locals in Jeju Island a while ago, and I also sympathized a lot.
In my case, my taste was a bit tricky, so I went looking for restaurants to sell.
When you find a restaurant and choose a regular, you often get strangely famous and lose the taste and kindness at first.
I was sorry.
A special recommendation is a restaurant run by residents or haenyeo.
The place is cheap, fresh and delicious.
For reference, most of the restaurants are private, so we have a lot of rest on Wednesday.
There are also many maps that are closed on the map app.
We recommend that you contact us before you visit.
Please refer to the post for the restaurant recommendation.

4 tourist attractions
After living in Jeju Island for 3 years, there are no places I visited.
I searched for small villages, uphills, and trails.
Don't go to festivals where possible. It's a waste of money, a waste of time, and only people.
Jeju Island is also recommended to be visited by season and time.
Jeju Island has more wonderful places each season.
For example, around Sanbangsan Mountain and Yongjeori Beach (avoid mornings with lots of fine dust)
Baekyak Oreum, Gunsan Oreum (at morning or sunset rather than day), ora buckwheat field-spring
All four seasons are wonderful
Songdangri Ascension-Dragons, Geom, Abu, Dhabi and so on (morning or sunset)
Hamdeok, Hyeopjae, Pyoseon Beach are summer and winter
Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak and Seopjikoji Spring and Winter
Jeju university entrance, Jeonnong-ro, Yerae-ro, Kashiri-gil, Ora CC entrance road-spring (rapeseed, cherry)
Chagwido, The Seashore Walkway-Autumn and Winter
Xinchang Windmill Coastal Road-Summer
Andeok Valley, Daepyeong-ri-Spring, Summer
Jong Dal Hydrangea, Ark Church-June
Gappado Island-Spring (If you go a little early to avoid the festival period, you can enjoy a quiet view. Get off at the dock and go to the edge of the island.
There is a restaurant and the seafood jjajang and champon are delicious.)
Saryeoni Forest Road is mainly going to the prosperity road and parked a lot in the street parking lot
I recommend going to the entrance under 516 intersection.
Of course, I can't park because I put up a rod at the edge of the street
If you want to feel the dirt road properly, there is a bus or shuttle bus parking lot nearby.
I hope you experience nature better.
If you are traveling with children, Cocomong and Kitty are great, but it is better to have a nature experience.
If you go to the parking lot near the top of Gunsan Oreum in spring, you can get a lot of ferns.
Jeju Island has a lot of branch schools. If you avoid the class time, you can run freely if you go with the ball on the large grass field.
I played mainly on weekends.
In early winter, visit the Seogwi Agricultural Technology Center during the citrus festival or as soon as you're done.
You can buy citrus fruits for a price and have a citrus picking event.
The Citrus Museum also offers citrus pies and foot baths.
And in winter, they sell a lot of tangerines and Hallabong on the side of the road.
If you really don't know, go to the top distribution center of Topyeong-dong Citrus Hub.
Is the price a bit expensive? You can buy it with confidence because there is no deception.
If you go to the Gosan Ilwa Coastal Road (Daejeong-eup-Gosan-ri Coastal Road), you will often see dolphins roaming, although it is bokbulbok.
(The coastal road is nice and you'll be satisfied with it)
And if you can afford to take your children's sand toys with you, take them with you.
If you have trouble carrying it, there are Daiso and Mart.
Hyeopjae, Geumneung, Hamdeok, Gimnyeong, Pyoseon have very low sea level, so it's great for kids to play with sand
Many of the children from my family who came to play when they were playing with the sand said they wanted to play together
When it snows in winter, if you go a little from Eoseungsaeng Intersection to Hankyung-myeon (west)
There is a natural sledding range where you can rent a sled. Jeju horse grazing is also good.
The hot spring is famous for Sanbangsan carbonated hot spring
I personally recommend Aragonite Hot Springs, which is operated by Dianex Hotel.
Of course you have to stay at Daneex Hotel ^^
