RE: The Most Boring Pacific Rim: Uprising Review in The Universe

in #review7 years ago

Been awhile since I've been to the movie theater, too; this sounds like one I might watch with my nieces and nephews (I've got 20 of them!)

Younger versions of Denzel Washington, Natalie Portman, and Willem Dafoe made me smile, and makes you sound older than you are :p

Tell me, @kevinwong, why do you think we humans love end-of-the-world scenarios so much (Existential panic, mortality issues)?

Also, why are we always pitting human-beings against non-humans, etc Again, are we afraid that the machines will eventually turn on us?

Sorry if I'm taking all the fun out of this (I enjoy mindless, superhero flicks) but why is it that in the majority of alien movies, they are here to invade and destroy our planet?

Perhaps, when we can conceive of more peaceful, curious, generous strangers, we might be less prone to invade and destroy other countries, here on planet earth?

Movie Pooper Yahia :O

Lol, i dunno. there are just either peaceful aliens or destructive aliens.. the latter is better for movies I guess?

44 years on this planet and I still don't understand... feel more alien or human impersonator than anything else :)
