Tough Crowd With Colin Quinn

in #review7 years ago

This in my opinion was one of the best shows of the early 2000s. Colin Quinn wasn't the best host, but Patrice O'Neal as a consistent guest was one of the funniest men to commentary and social and racial relations of the time. Watching that show in the modern era makes it seem like nothing has changed. America's relation with the rest of the world, and how the Middle East is still in turmoil...

2004 could be 2040 it doesn't matter at the rate we are going at. Just an awesome show, there were 200 episodes over 2 seasons. The comedian panel for each show got mixed up, and many guys who are famous now got there start there. Kevin Hard, Louis C.K., all these guys got there start on Tough Crowd. It is a cool time capsule and a way to see the times as they happned politcally, but commented on subjectively by jaded comedians.
