US General Tool Box Review

I have been on the fence for a while about buying a US General tool box from Harbor Freight. It seemed too cheap for the features it offered when compared to big name tool boxes. It simply could not be as good as it seemed right? Wrong! I pulled the trigger on my wallet and bought one. I purchased the 56" rolling cabinet with matching top chest. The tally for this with a catalog coupon came in at just under $1,300.00. That amount of quality tool storage for this price is amazing. It is heavy and robustly built ( my back can attest to that). It has a high quality fit and finish. Yes, it is made in China but isn't everything anymore?

The casters on this thing are amazing. It is effortless to push.

The bigger drawers have double slides.

Each drawer has a spring locking tab to keep it in place while the box is in an unlocked state.

Top lid has gas shocks to hold it open when raised.

Hardware is attractive and comfortable.

Would I recommend this box? Absolutely! You can spend more money, but you wont have a better box. Go down to Harbor Freight and look at these if you need a new tool box. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

I want the tools that would fit inside :)

Yeah, that's the bigger investment for sure :)

I'm gonna have to buy one, that looks great. I recently did my first Steemit article on equity release. It's a great platform and I'm enjoying the diversity of content.

Interesting article. Thank you.
