A few days ago, I once again watched this movie. I've seen it before, around the time it went into wide release. At the time, I was completely in awe of him.
Now, although I still have a General positive impression of this picture, I also have a feeling that the film was a little above average. I don't think I'll watch it again. The idea of the film, by the way, is quite interesting. Hulot - one of the former agents of the Interspatial Bureau of Investigation, dismissed for official crimes and brutal murders of his own counterparts in all the parallel worlds open at that time, wanted to become Superman, taking the powers and abilities of his victims like the famous Highlander.
In the end, there was only one survivor - a Los Angeles police officer named Gabe. He is also strong and smart, as part of the power of the dead doubles from other worlds also got to him. Throughout the film, these two characters are the main characters, constantly conflicting with each other.
The plot is developing quite dynamically, it is interesting to watch it. There are a lot of unexpected plot twists, there is also intrigue, there is a good humor.
In principle, the film turned out to be a good action movie, which will surely appeal to all fans of martial arts.
Of the actors who starred here in the main roles, I would like to mention the game of jet Li, who played several roles here, and Jason Stayman - an Agent of the Bureau of Investigation, who hunted a criminal. All the other actors did not actually play, but simply earned their fee.
