Just under a month ago project @rePhoto was launched here on Steemit, with an inspired objective to primarily reward and expose undervalued photography content across the Steemit platform. So far, we have been successful with our manual curation, rewarding well over 100+ posts we felt were undervalued and underexposed. Now after a few weeks of streamlining and bug fixing, we are ready to completely commit and push on with our project and its goals! This means MORE content rewards, MORE support and MORE minnow exposure, as we continue to build our follower base and our delegated SP.
But what really makes us so different to every other service and bot out there? Well that answer depends on your perspective, but here's our compiled list of what makes us so God damn sexy...
@rePhoto is dedicated only to photography content
We want to showcase the most amazing under-rated, undervalued photography that Steemit has to offer. This means we have absolute tunnel vision when it comes to working with photographers and their content. No crypto chit-chat, no politics, and almost certainly no magnificent Anchorman quote's (although this is always encouraged).
All posts that are resteemed by @rePhoto are photography orientated and shared back to YOU, our photo enthusiastic followers.
Manual curation
Although @rePhoto is an automated service, curation is still done manually to support and reward undervalued posts across the platform. As we build our following and increase our SP/Delegation, our reward payouts will also grow, encouraging more minnows and photographers to create quality content on the platform.

It will NEVER cost more than $0.10 to use @rePhoto's service
The cost to use services similar to us can be expensive, and often vary upwards of $1 SBD. This is a crazy amount to pay considering so many posts naturally receive less than a $1 payout!
@rePhoto prices are set specifically low to encourage photographer's to share their content without the risk of overspending on promotion. Moreover, we have designed our service around minnow exposure, which is why those who are new and with low reputation will only transact $0.01 to use the @rePhoto service.
The majority of @rePhoto followers are active in the photography community
We want our followers to join us naturally; through exposure of awesome photography, hosting contests or general support for the photography community. Some services similar to us use wallet spam and an auto-following script to attract those who first join steemit. If 1 in 10 of those people follow back, it takes no time to hit 10k+ followers, especially with such a large amount of people joining recently.
However, whilst there is nothing wrong with this, unfortunately the majority of the people who follow are unlikely to look at their feed and your post, or remain inactive because of their inexperience on the platform, and if they do the chances are they will have very little voting power.
With @rePhoto, know that the majority of people following us are active in the photography community, and are here for good quality content. Our aim is to continue sharing wonderful image's with these like minded people.
@rePhoto wants to return rewards to YOU!
However much we wish there was, there are not 5 magical anonymous whales upvoting you everytime you use our service. Instead we invest our returns directly in to large amounts of delegation to reward YOU, though manual curation and random upvotes.
Right now we have 500 SP delegated to us for the foreseeable future, and even though our larger amounts may fluctuate, we will continue to build our base SP to maintain a consistently higher payout for rewards.
