Like many, I also think it's proper suspicious that there has been so little interest in the moon since the 'race' at the end of the 60s.

Yeah, the rocks might be a bit boring, and we do have ice here too, but you would think with technology 50 years to the good, a revisit would yield more clues as to what when why.

Populating the moon outside of military type bases isn't really an option (size/proximity) and so I do think our best efforts should be placed further afield - But hopefully this forthcoming mission will provide some further insight.

I used to think 'we' never made it there - taking off and getting back safe being my main reason, but perhaps we did, and the photos just looked a bit crap - there are some fantastic shots of the US flag and NASA logo though! 😂
