Mark chapter 16.png

  1. When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.

  2. Very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.

  3. They were saying among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?”

  4. for it was very big. Looking up, they saw that the stone was rolled back.

  5. Entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were amazed.

  6. He said to them, “Don’t be amazed. You seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen. He is not here. Behold, the place where they laid him!

  7. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He goes before you into Galilee. There you will see him, as he said to you.’”

  8. They went out, and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had come on them. They said nothing to anyone; for they were afraid.

  9. Now when he had risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.

  10. She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept.

  11. When they heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, they disbelieved.

  12. After these things he was revealed in another form to two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country.

  13. They went away and told it to the rest. They didn’t believe them, either.

  14. Afterward he was revealed to the eleven themselves as they sat at the table, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they didn’t believe those who had seen him after he had risen.

  15. He said to them, “Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation.

  16. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.

  17. These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages;

  18. they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

  19. So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

  20. They went out, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.

The Sabbath ended with the twilight of Saturday, around 6.00 p.m., There is unanimity in the gospel about the prominent role of women in this event, as they were the first to receive the news of the resurrection, although Jesus had made the promise to rise from the dead on the third day, or his followers did not believe in it or, in the midst of the affliction, forgot it, the young man they see in the tomb was an angel, this angel reinforces the evidence of that Jesus has risen.
The special reference to Peter ensures forgiveness and rehabilitation after denying Jesus.

There is a mandate established by Jesus after his resurrection "the great commission" go all over the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
The signs accredit the message of the gospel, and can not be limited to the time of the apostles, just as the commission of the Lord to take the gospel to the whole world, the signs, therefore, confirm the ministry of the ambassadors of Christ in each new generation. Cast out demons, speak in tongues, and heal through prayer, all of which appears in other passages of the New Testament, and there is no scriptural guarantee that they will cease before the return of the Lord. To take serpents in the hands does not refer to the use of reptiles in religious ceremonies, but to remove them without suffering harm.
The Greek verb translated "to take" can also mean "to take", "to move away"
In the same way, a servant of the Lord can seek divine protection in matters concerning food and drink.
Many missionaries have testified to the miraculous protection of God in the territory of pagans, where they have not experienced harmful effects from eating food or drinks in poor condition.
All the signs mentioned here have occurred repeatedly in the Christian era.

Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In my name they will cast out demons; they will speak new languages; they will take serpents in their hands, and if they drink something deadly, it will not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

definitely when creating @steemchurch the purpose of the life of Jesus is being fulfilled, because thanks to @SirKnight the man guided by God, we work to bring the good news of salvation to many places.

Mark concludes with this chapter, the victory of Jesus Christ over death is evident and hope for the humanity that believes is born. The greatest mission can be seen in this chapter: Go to the whole world announcing the gospel of love. How many of us are committed to this mission in Blockchain?

This chapter shows one thing Jesus always chided His disciples against which is unbelief.

vs 17 said - These signs shall follow us all that believe...

It is quite pitiable that we that believe in Jesus, who are expected to live a supernatural life far above satanic oppression still share the same fate that non-believers face.

Look at the signs that should follow us..

  • We will cast out demons
  • We will speak new tongues
  • No hurt whatsoever can come to us
  • And if peradventure we stumble over sick persons, we heal them all.

Why does it seem like we don't see much of these?

Simple - Unbelief

Have Faith, all things are possible to them believe. ALL THINGS, not some things. Just have Faith

Jesus death and resurrection is as result of saying. Jesus is alive and forever He is alive. Amen

It is our duty to preach the gospel to the world because Jesus wants all His children to be saved and be part of Him in the kingdom.

This chapter is a great triumph ... triumph because it shows us its resurrection and triumph because it leaves us the great task and a great promise:

He told them: "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to all creation."
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages;
they will take snakes; and if they drink something deadly, it will not hurt them in any way; they will impose their hands on the sick and recover. "

All of us who have believed in Jesus Christ, we must keep our FAITH and TRUST in the promises that he left us from that day ...

Jesus has risen,HALLELUYAH. He has given His disciples and all people to go preach the gospel to all nations and has given them the power to heal all manners of sicknesses. Thank God

He died and rose and gave us victory....we are now victorious. He has given us power and authority over the earth.. Whatever we bind on earth will be so in heaven and whatever we lose in earth is lose in heaven.
We should learn to spread the gospel through our act of love, our character. ...our lives should shine before men, so when they see our lives they will glorify our father in heaven

in the resurrection of Christ is that the gospel is consolidated because in the same way one day we will be raised.

HALLELUJAH! Our Lord is a living God. He is risen.

La muerte no pudo retenerlo por no tener pecado.

The order is to preach the good news of Salvation. Jesus defeated on the cross of Calvary.
