RE: IS JESUS THE SAVIOR?

in #religion8 years ago (edited)

If you are going to quote Jesus, you need to quote everything He said on a subject and not pick one thing out of context.

I have already shown you this most important verse several times and yet you continue to try to make a point that will not fly. Here again are the very words of Jesus to Nicodemus:

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. -- John 3:16-19

The verse you are quoting is limited to a very specific sequence of events wherein the Jews were given the chance to recognize their messiah first.

I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, then to the Greek. Romans 1:16

After that Jesus instructions were very clear. In fact, his final words to the disciples were:

Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all I have commanded you. -- Matthew 28:19

If you continue to mislead people by quoting selective verses out of context to make points that are the opposite of the truth - you become a false teacher. This will be not good for you:

Jesus said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks will come, but woe to the one through whom they come! It would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.

My friend I am only trying to high light the TRUETH, based on evidence, u can not produce one evidence where JEUSU claims to be God or the son of God. Also u can not bring evidence where he claims to be the savior of all humanity, and the evidence should not be based on what other's have said, it should be based only what JEUSU himself, says. e.g "red writing's" in the bible not the black ink is not JEUSUS P.B.U.H words.

I just did produce such evidence in this very post with the quote from John 3:16-19. I have posted this over and over again for you and even devoted a whole article on the topic:

All the red writings are quotes of Jesus, by the people who wrote all the other writing's as well. They studied under His teachings for 3.5 years and were tasked with taking what they learned to the whole world, as I have shown above.

There is no difference in reliability whether they are quoting Him, or paraphrasing Him, or summarizing what they learned from Him in their own words. All forms were inspired by the Holy Spirit exactly the same way, just as Jesus (in red letters) said they would be:

All this I have spoken to you while I am still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you. -- John 14-26

Dear friend and brother in humanity, let's agree to disagree, with each other's believe's, and I would also like to apologize to if I hurt ur feelings in anyway, and ask for ur forgiveness.

There is absolutely no emotion or hurt feelings involved.
Please do not interpret my attempts to state simple truths as an attack of any kind.
But, of course, there are a lot of souls whose fate is riding on knowing the truth.
And it is our duty to argue the merits of what we believe so that others can be fully informed.
So, I'm quite happy to agree to disagree.
And this forum is a great place to do it!
