Will Those So Called ' Men Of God' Bury Their Heads In Shame When Their 2018 Prophecies Fail To Come To Reality?

The new year is here again, many prophecies of different Church leaders have infiltrated the cyberspace. Anytime surf the Internet to read local news, there must be one or two stories about some Church leaders who just 'dropped' their new prophecies. It's quite amazing that these prophecies are usually targeted at popular politicians in the country or continent as the case may be. Sadly, these prophecies are usually terrible ones that envisage possible calamities in the future.

On a second thought, I think this is a psychological manipulation on their large congregation or followers. Let's analyze the case of one of the Church leaders who had already 'predicted' that a very popular Zimbabwean ex - president will die before the end of this year who is obviously very old and frail.

They make so many prophecies about these kind of popular politicians because if maybe the prophecies come to pass, the news will make very 'rich' headlines in the media and thus attract more gullible followers to join their fold.
Another example of how deceitful some of these Church leaders could be is a short story of what happened when I was still in the University. There was one prophecy by a very popular pastor that FAILED WOEFULLY!

It was the final match of the 2012 UEFA Champions League season. Chelsea team were to play Bayern Munich. Prior to the encounter, the pastor published a prophecy and pasted it on the school notice board for everyone to see. In the publication, the pastor wrote that a team that wear the red jersey (which suggests Bayern Munich) will carry the day and a man with a bald head (which again referred to Arjen Robben) will score on that fateful day.
Unfortunately or fortunately, Chelsea with the blue color jersey and no man with bald head carried the day eventually. In fact, Didier Drogba with a lot of hair scored the winning goal in a penalty shoot out.

After this woeful disgrace, we saw another publication on the school notice board that the previous notice of a red jersey team winning the match encounter wasn't from the pastor and that it was from mischievous and overzealous follower in the fellowship trying to tarnish the good reputation of the pastor.
