Hi Steemit Friends! Early this morning we joined the Worldwide walk to fight poverty along Roxas boulevard, Manila Philippines. It's start at 6 in the morning, so we wake up at around 3am and went there at 5 am however due to the large number of members who joined the said activity , me and my husband finished at 11 am. It was set to happen simultaneously in more than 300 sites across 18 timezone around the world. It was actually a success after we bagged a new Guiness record for largest human sentence and trying to break another 4 Guiness records - the largest picture mosaic formed by people, the largest charity walk in a single venue, most nationalities in a charity walk, and the largest charity walk in multiple venues."
The said activity aim to fund money to help the people in Africa. As we all know they are suffering poverty, they lacked of basic human needs. Most of them suffer from hunger especially children.

I remember last 2014, we also had this activity. And the said Worldwide walk is to help the victim of Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan). Iglesia ni Cristo believes that whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done. Reward is not material things but an everlasting life in heaven.
