Matthew 16:2-3 (KJV) He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
God executes purpose on the earth in seasons and times (Ecclesiastes 3:1).
Seasons are often general while times are personal.
For instance, it might be a season for the church to increase but as an individual, you have a time for increase. It might be a season for the ministry to be elevated but as an individual, you also have a time for elevation.
That is why breakthrough over the same matter comes at different times for different people who may attend the same ministry and hear that Word of breakthrough at the same time.
This is the pattern: when seasons come, as an individual you ought to discern the signs of your times; when you understand the signs of your times, you will know what to do and thus respond to what God is doing in that period.
These signs might be dreams, simple instructions on the pulpits, visions or the convictions of the Spirit.
Understanding signs requires that you know how to draw spiritual significance from the events surrounding your life.
When you understand the signs, you will not miss your times, when you do not miss your times, you will benefit from the seasons. Praise God!

PRAYER: Father, thank you for this wisdom. I know my signs, I understand my times. My spirit is alive to what you are doing at any one particular moment. I am acquainted with spiritual activity because I have learnt how to draw spiritual significance from many things that surround me in the understanding that I am a spirit being. I am never slowed; my days are well numbered and I do not fall back in the timings of eternity. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
