The first converts Chapter 5 part two

 With great joy the missionaries prepared themselves for the baptism of faquira. But on the day of his baptism this character did not appear, his relatives did not want to say that it had belonged to him. Edwin Schnauzer thought that he had killed him so that he could never be baptized. It was never known what had happened to him.  

 Then months passed without there being another convert, but God had not forgotten his own he would give them other conversions, one day the doctor of the mission met with a carpenter as they were walking spoke of Christ. He told him that in Christ there is salvation and that to be saved you only need to have faith in Him. The carpenter told him that he had already asked to speak about Christ. The gospel interested him very much but he did not want to become a Christian, he did not want his family and friends to despise him.  

 Sometime later someone sent for the doctor of the mission a carpenter had fallen into the river and had dislocated a shoulder, the doctor went to heal him Schnauzer went with him wanted to take the opportunity to talk about Christ to the sick. This carpenter was called Krishna and he was the first Hindu that Schnauzer baptized, that day there was among the missionaries, joy in the heart of Krishna and in heaven.  

 Since then there were more baptisms every month, God was adding to the church those who were to be saved.
