In a previous post I wrote about word origins, which brings us to this topic. The word "Gentleman" which derives from the words gentile & man, meaning non-Jewish man. Therefore there's no such thing as a Jewish gentleman & Jesus was not a gentleman, since he is a Jew.
I am not an anti-semitic person & I believe that Jewish people are chosen by God to fulfill God's will on earth. This brings me to a 2nd word, "chosen", which derives form the Judaic word chosenness, which is the idea of Jewish people having a relationship with God unlike any other nation or people.
Jewish people are an extreme minority amongst Abrahamic religions. There are only @ 20 million Jews in the world. There are @ 2.2 billion Christians & @ 1.6 billion Islamists in the world. One thing all Abrahamic religions have in common are the 10 commandments.
There are "Good" (derives from word God) & "Evil" (derives fron word Devil) people in the world, who are both Theists & Atheists. What I believe is that: Good & Evil; Love & Hate; Theism & Atheism; Positive & negative are all polarities of the same thing & cannot exist without one another.
Coming back to the word "gentleman". Many would like to have this word eliminated. Not because it discriminates against Jews but because it has the word "man" in it. So do the words: woman, human, humane & humanity.
